We change only what electronic reading requires — typography, navigation, search, accessibility.

The second is everything we built around it: AI summaries and commentary, the AI Companion, timed sittings, journal and highlights, and selections from other nondual traditions. None of that is Course text, and none of it is presented as though it were.

There is no correct order. Most people settle into one of these.

If you find an error in the Course text as it appears here, please write to us — accuracy of the Licensed Work is something we are obliged to and glad to fix.

The Companion and the summaries are generated by third-party language models. They can draw on the Original Edition, on our own summaries, and on other nondual material. Everything they produce is labelled as AI-generated and set apart from Course text.

AI-generated summaries, commentary, interpretations, and responses within this application are independently generated and do not represent official interpretations, teachings, opinions, or endorsements of Course in Miracles Society (CIMS). CIMS licenses the use of A Course in Miracles – Original Edition within this application but is not responsible for AI-generated content or guidance.

When AI output quotes the Course, the quotation is marked and sourced. AI language is never dressed as a quotation. AI material is not an alternative version, a revision, or a replacement for the Original Edition.

We do not offer AI-generated translations of the Original Edition. Translating the Course is not authorized under our license.
